Facts about Julius Caeser
Caesar was killed by some of the senators who invaded Rome because they thought that he had too much power. Also
Rome beat Carthage in the Punic wars which expanded their empire. Also he fall of Rome a Germanic tribe called the goths took advantage of the confusion and invaded roman territory. In an effort to save the empire they divided Rome into eastern and western halves. They did this because they thought the empire would be easier to manage. This was only partly successful.
The Eastern and western invasion and Attacks
The Easter half survived for 1,000 years, and the western half collapsed. A barbaric tribe called the Huns. They came from western China. They took over most of Asia and Eastern Europe during the middle ages.
By the early 400 B.C Huns had learned something about Roman ways, and had a very strong king named Attila. Sometimes the Romans hired the Huns to fight for them, as part of the Roman army. In the 420s and 430s, the Huns helped the Romans to fight the Visigoths. Some Roman men, like the future general Aetius (ah-AY-shuss), grew up with the Huns as part of exchanges so the two groups could get to know each other better.
The picture above me is a picture of the eastern side attacking the western side. The whole reason that they split up in to two sides is because some people liked this government and the other people liked a different government so they went on a different side. Then the eastern side decided to do a attack on the western side.
